The Government of Montenegro announced today that 2024 euros have been allocated for the "Sveti Sava" Gymnasium, and 900.000 euros for the "Mehmed Fatih" Madrasah, within the funds allocated by the Budget Law for 800.000.
The press release states that at today's session, the Government adopted the Information on Support for Secondary Religious Institutions.
"On this occasion, the Government accepted contracts on the financing of secondary religious schools - Madrasa 'Mehmed Fatih' and Gymnasium 'Sveti Sava'. Within the funds determined by the Law on the Budget for the year 2024, 800.000 euros were allocated for Madrasa 'Mehmed Fatih', while 900.000 euros have been allocated for the 'Sveti Sava' Gymnasium", the Government's announcement reads.
The government has adopted information on the assumption of joint obligations for the completion of negotiations with the European Union by the end of 2026 - Platform "Barometer 26".
"On this occasion, the Government authorized Prime Minister Milojko Spajić to sign the Platform on behalf of the Government with representatives of the parties that do not form the parliamentary majority," the statement said.
It is stated that the Strategy for improving the quality of health care and patient safety 2025-2028 and the Action Plan 2025-2026 have been adopted.
"With this strategically important document, the Government shows its commitment to improving the quality of health care and the safety of the entire health system, with the aim of ensuring greater availability and success of treatment, better working conditions and, above all, greater patient safety," the announcement says.
That document, it is added, is not only a response to current needs, but also a proactive step towards future challenges, bringing sustainable improvements for all actors of the health system.
"The strategy connects health and non-health policy, identifies priorities and emphasizes the importance of health structures, processes and outcomes focused on quality and safety," the announcement says.
It is stated that the Strategy emphasizes the complexity of the health system, foresees action at all levels and calls for investment in management and policy aimed at creating an efficient system of quality health care and safety.
At the session, information was adopted on the need to participate in the public bidding process for the purchase of office space for the needs of the Basic State Prosecutor's Office (ODT) in Pljevlja.
"At the request of the Prosecutor's Council, the Government tasked the Director of the State Property Administration to carry out activities to participate in the advertisement for the sale of part of the assets of the bankruptcy debtor "Vektra Jakić" in bankruptcy, which was published by the bankruptcy trustee on November 19," the statement said.
As it is added, the state property administration is in charge of providing EUR 424.600 in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance for the purchase of the mentioned office space.
In the information, it is stated that, based on the contract for the lease of office space concluded on July 4, 2011 between "Vektra Jakić" - Pljevlja and the then Property Administration, office space was leased for the needs of ODT in Pljevlja.
"The contract continued to be extended and the space was completely repurposed for the needs of ODT, i.e. a certain amount of investment and adaptation of the space was made in order to fully meet the requirements and standards that a building for this purpose should have," the announcement says.
