Mihajlo Lisičić, a student of the Elementary School "Milan Vuković" from Herceg Novi, won the first place at the Festival of Young Reciters of Montenegro, in the category of students from the first to the fifth grade of elementary schools, which was held yesterday in Nikšić.
The second place was shared equally by Merjem Mustajbašić Elementary School "Nedakusi" from Bijelo Polje and Iskra Bojić Elementary School "Sutjeska" from Podgorica, while the third place was equally shared by the students of Luka Škopelja Elementary School "Kekec" Sutomorei Tijana Damjanović, Elementary School "Janko Mićunović" from NIkšić.
The organizer of the competition is the publishing house Obodsko slovo.
The mentor of the student from Bijelo Polje, class teacher Denisa Erović Čokrlija, said that they did not prepare for the competition for a long time, because Merjem Mustajbašić is a very talented girl who is an example of a good student.
"The girl is gifted at recitation. She knows how to express herself, has the right diction, attitude, posture. From the beginning she showed her talent and stood out, and when you talk to her you have the feeling that you are talking to an older person. So when she is retelling the material, she add her own descriptions and evoke in a wonderful way," said the mentor, adding that she only directed in that expression. Merjem recited the poem by Danijela Kvas, "Birth of my brother", pointed out Erović Čokrlija.
