The World Bank is determined, in cooperation with the Government, to provide support for a more efficient water supply for the entire Montenegrin coast.
The Montenegrin Littoral Regional Waterworks announced that representatives of the World Bank pointed this out during a visit to the source of the "Boljestra".
The delegation of the World Bank, led by the director for the Sustainable Development Sector Sameh Vahba, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management and the Water Administration, were hosted by the executive director of the Regional Waterworks Krsto Radović and the president of the Board of Directors Zoran Lakušić with his colleagues.
Radović informed them about the condition of the spring "Boljeestra", the possible causes of the drop in the yield of the spring, and drew attention to the need to undertake activities to solve the recorded problems.

After the "presentation of the devastation of the Morača river bed" in the zones of sanitary protection of the source of "Boljeestra" and a tour of the water source, a meeting was held in the premises of the Regional Water Supply where plans for future cooperation were discussed.
"Members of the delegation expressed their gratitude to the director of the Regional Waterworks, Krsto Radović and the president of the Board of Directors, Zoran Lakušić, for their hospitality, and emphasized the determination of the World Bank to cooperate with the Government of Montenegro to provide support in solving the problem of more efficient water supply for the entire Montenegrin coast," the announcement reads.
Radović noted that the support of the Government, but also of international entities such as the World Bank, will be extremely important in the planned projects.
