The users of the moorings in the Bar marina recently signed up and formally registered the Non-Governmental Organization Association of Berth Owners in the Bar Marina. Their goal is networking of users, better conditions and cooperation with Marina Bar.
As the president of that association, Ivan Dabović, said, the Association was founded with the intention of users connecting with each other and working together with Marina Bar to ensure the best possible conditions and safety, both in the marina and at sea.
In addition to Dabović, the initiative, i.e. Founding Board of the NVU Association of Berth Users in Marina Bar, consists of Tomislav Iličković, Ćazim Alković, Niko Jovićević and Andrej Radenović.
"A large number of mooring users in Marina Bar have already joined the initiative committee, and it is expected that almost all users will join this association," said Dabović.
As some of the goals of this NVU, he mentioned ensuring the safety of vessels moored in Marina Bar, improvement of the quality of equipment and safety of moorings in the Marina, cooperation with the management of AD Marina Bar.
Then he mentions the promotion of healthy lifestyles with special reference to the spirit of the Mediterranean in Bar, exchange of knowledge and experiences and better connection of boat owners, environmental protection with special reference to the Marine Bar water area and connection and exchange of experiences with similar associations in Croj Gora and the region.
"Given that the users of the moorings are of a wide range of interests and education, Udurženje will certainly be a very high-quality collaborator to the management of the Marina Bar, which will be of mutual benefit and satisfaction," said Dabović.
As he said, the Association is ready to make its maximum contribution in all fields, especially in restoring the Mediterranean spirit.
