Investors in the new tourist settlement in the Breza part, where there are more hotels and villas, built communal infrastructure alongside these facilities with their own funds.
As they say in the Municipality of Kolašin, a contract for the construction of communal infrastructure was signed with an investor for the purpose of equipping the construction land. In this way, the investor settled the rest of the debt in the name of fees for communal equipment of the construction land.
"Investors in the settlement of Breza recognized the problems faced by the Municipality, and they concern the construction of infrastructure, so in addition to the construction of their facilities, they built communal infrastructure in parallel with the Main Project, from their own funds. CG Resort signed a contract with the Municipality for the construction of communal infrastructure in order to equip the construction land for the rest of the debt for the compensation for the communal equipment of the construction land", they told "Vijesti" in the office of the President of the Municipality Petka Bakić.
As they explain, the value of that contract is around 17.000 euros. The municipality of Kolašin financed part of the preparatory and asphalting works in the total amount of about 18.000 euros from the budget. In this way, about 2.000 square meters of road was paved in the settlement, where a large number of tourist facilities are springing up.
In that part of the settlement of Breza, according to Bakić's cabinet, all that remains is the installation of public lighting, while in the previous period the Municipality also financed the marking of horizontal signage on the newly asphalted road.
The municipality signed a similar, but significantly more extensive contract on the regulation of mutual obligations in April with the investors in the mountain centers Kolašin 1450 and Kolašin 1600. The essence of that contract is that the investors, who build tourist facilities on Bjelasica, will also build the missing communal infrastructure, because it amounts to compensation for equipping the construction land, which should be paid by the Municipality, are not sufficient for that. The construction of communal infrastructure is, by the way, the responsibility of the local government. Bakić, explaining the need to sign the contract, said earlier that "the Municipality did well in that business".
"The signing of this type of contract on the regulation of mutual rights and obligations in connection with the communal equipment of construction land at the Kolašin 1450 and 1600 location is extremely important in order to create the conditions for the location to be fully equipped with infrastructure in the shortest possible time, to make it possible with organized roads access to ski resorts. This is a key prerequisite for creating adequate conditions for the opening and functioning of the hotel, as befits luxury tourist facilities", explained the President of the Municipality at the time.
As he claims, numerous guarantees were made in the contract to protect the Municipality and the public interest, and among other things, the local administration will have supervision over all works.
