The Podgorica police, on the order of the Basic State Prosecutor's Office, have been acting for hours on another report about an alleged case of harassment in the "Slobodan Škerović" Gymnasium in Podgorica.
The pre-criminal procedure was initiated after the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation announced that last night they were informed about another case of potential harassment of a female student by a high school teacher, after which they forwarded the correspondence to the school and the prosecutor's office.
"Vijesti" has unofficially learned that it is about the correspondence of the Gymnasium professor in the joint viber group of the entire department from October of this year.
The Ministry received a report or correspondence in which it is suspected that there is potential harassment of a professor towards a female student.
The inspectors immediately took a statement from that student, who, in the presence of her parents, stated that she did not know what it was about, explaining that she did not feel in any way that the teacher was harassing her or treating her or anyone in the class or school rudely.
The student and her parents claimed to the police that the professor, whom someone reported for allegedly harassing her in a joint class group, is actually the best teacher in the school and that he takes care of all the students equally.
The police will continue to investigate this report at the behest of the ODT.
After receiving the correspondence last night, the MPNI sent the Gymnasium "Slobodan Škerović" for urgent action, as well as the Basic State Prosecutor's Office.
The new report about possible harassment followed after the Center for Investigative Journalism of Montenegro recently published an article in which a case of inappropriate behavior by a professor of the Podgorica Gymnasium "Slobodan Škerović" towards a former student was mentioned in 2021.

It is believed that the professor sent inappropriate messages to the former student shortly after the prom, who then reported it to the school, explaining that she wanted to protect the other students.
The school fined that professor after he admitted that he had written to the girl, but with the explanation that it was a "game".
Due to the case of professor R.Č. Yesterday, a case was formed in the Basic State Prosecutor's Office.
The Council of Parents of the Gymnasium assessed at last night's session that Professor R.Č. he should no longer be a member of that collective.
