For the renovation and rehabilitation of facade surfaces in Podgorica, it is planned that Podgorica will allocate 1.200.000 euros from the city coffers by the end of the year, the Housing Agency told "Vijesta".
"Works were carried out on more than 50 buildings, and the total square footage of renovated facades realized so far is over 135.000 square meters of facade area. Over the course of the year, the facades were renovated on a large number of extremely large buildings, such as the building in Oktobarske revolucije Street, Revolucije Boulevard, Svetog Petar Cetinjski Boulevard, Sava Kovačevića Boulevard, in Vasa Raičković Street, on four solitaires on Tuški put (Limun, An orange and two gray solitaires), on the Spone building at the Old Airport, on the building in Moskovska street...", they said.
The Housing Agency, headed by Vladimir Tomović, said that work is underway on an "extremely demanding building that gravitates towards two streets".
"The thermal insulation facade was done on one of the solitaires in Jola Piletića Street, one in Vijenca Danila Kiša Street and in more than 20 other locations," said the Agency.
They explained that, compared to last year, when 95.000 square meters of facade area were renovated, a "significant increase in treated facades" was recorded.
"Year after year, the interest of condominium owners in facade renovation works is increasing. Special interest was expressed in the renovation of facades with the use of thermal insulation materials. For the next period, there are already approvals from the Assembly of Condominium Owners for sixty residential buildings, whereby the renovation of the facades will be carried out on some of the highest solitaires in the city, such as the solitaire on Trg Nikola Kovačevića no. 7 (where the works have already begun in part), on the solitaire Wreaths of Kosovo Heroes no. 6, on the solitaire in Ulica Vijenci Danila Kiša no. 5... They explained that they are happy that there is great interest and "a large number of received consents to preserve the condition of the housing fund through a partnership".
