The Municipality of Zeta paid pop star Jelena Karleuša 20.000 euros as royalties for her performance at the Days of Zeta Cakes and Cakes held on October 27 in Plavnica. This manifestation cost Zećana a total of 37.771,02 euros, including the royalties of the popular singer.
In addition to the fee, Karleuša and her team were paid taxi transportation to the airport and back in the amount of 240 euros, as well as accommodation in the Hilton hotel. Judging by the bill, the singer stayed in Montenegro for several days because 28 euros were paid for her stay from October 30 to 839.50 in an exclusive hotel in Podgorica.
The direct costs of Karleusa's concert include the rental of the LED screen and public address system (3.025 euros), as well as compensation to the Organization for the Protection of Authors' Rights, which was paid 2.041,56 euros for the use of musical works.
The organizers of the Day of Zeta cakes and treats paid 1.524,6 euros for physical security, and 839,95 euros for cleaning Plavnica after the event. The filming of this event, including the use of a drone, as well as the editing of the "video for the purpose of promotion" cost 600 euros, while the ambulance was paid 300 euros.
EUR 1.641 was spent on the procurement of food necessary for the preparation of cakes and pastries, and the Zeta Tourism Organization paid a total of EUR 6.240 to the participants of the event on various grounds through the work contract.
Jelena Karleuša's performance in Zeta actually happened due to the cancellation of her performance in the hotel "Podgorica", which was supposed to take place on May 9.
The singer is dissatisfied with the votes announced at that time on the United Nations Resolution on Srebrenica and the admission of Kosovo to the Council of Europe, and has made a series of accusations against the countries of the region.
"That Montenegro votes against Serbia for the umpteenth time and that half of Montenegrins are in that same Serbia and do not see any moral or political problem. Because every Montenegrin's grandfather was a Serb, every Croat's grandfather killed Serbs, every Bosniak's grandfather did not come either from Turkey or Saudi Arabia because the IC is bothering him...", wrote Karleuša, among other things, on social networks.
This caused a series of negative comments in Montenegro, which resulted in the cancellation of the concert at the "Podgorica" hotel, although Karleuša stated that she was the one who gave up the performance in the capital of Montenegro.
The cancellation of the concert seems to have irritated DNP president Milan Knežević more than the popular singer.
"On behalf of the municipality of Zeta, the youngest municipality in Montenegro, where we exercise power, I invite you to hold a concert on the free territory. We invite you to be our guest. Severina can't sing there. Let the enemies who want to forbid your arrival in Montenegro burst," said Knežević in a TV show in which he was a guest together with the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić.
Originally, the concert was announced for Vidovdan, June 28.
Information about Jelena Karleuša's concert at Zeta was obtained by "Vijesti" with the help of the MANS application "Ask the Institutions".
Karleuša's price list
Jelena Karleuša, judging by the published data, has different price lists adapted to specific occasions. For the concerts in Sombor and Subotica, at the end of the summer, if the newspaper reports are to be believed, 41.000 euros were paid from the local municipal coffers.
Karleuša received 15.000 euros for her performance at Dr. Zoran Đinđić Square in Stara Pazova in October of this year, but she was paid around 30.000 euros in Šabac.
According to the media, during the summer season on the Montenegrin coast, Karleuša charged an average of 20.000 euros per performance.
Thanks to Milan and Maja!
"What a concert this was in Montenegro! Zeta, famous for its rich history and tradition, welcomed me like no one ever! Thank you to everyone who was in the endless kilometers, thank you to the police of Montenegro, thank you to Milan Knežević and the Minister of Transport Maja Vukićević for the wonderful hospitality!
