High School Professor Mato Kankaraš: I distance myself from the letter sent by Jakšić Stojanović, it was not made on behalf of all professors

Mathematics professor at the "Slobodan Škerović" Gymnasium, Mato Kankaraš, publicly distanced himself from the letter sent from the email profesorigimnazije@gim-pg.edu.me, which was signed "Professori Gimnazije".

That letter was allegedly sent by the professors of that institution to the Minister of Education, Science and Innovation Anđela Jakšić Stojanović.

"As one of the professors of the 'Slobodan Škerović' Gymnasium, I want to publicly disassociate myself from the above-mentioned statement, first of all, because it is based on incorrect information - and that is the allegation that it was made on behalf of all the professors of this institution. It can only be a reflection of opinion several compilers who did not have any mechanism to examine the consensus regarding this article. Something like this can only be passed at a session of the teachers' council and not in commissions," says Kankaraš.

He adds that the announcement was forwarded to the professors by email after they read it in the media "and with our signature".

"It's as if we are speechless beings who automatically support everything that is put before them, so they don't even ask for an opinion. For example, we discussed the statement of the professor of the Gymnasium 'Slobodan Škerović' regarding the copying scandal last school year for three hours at the teachers' council. This way of advertising on behalf of all employees and without their consent is inadmissible, just as it is inadmissible that we as teaching staff allowed, either knowingly or unknowingly, that covers up a heinous case that gives grounds for suspecting the deviant nature of one of our school's professors as well as the possible damage that this individual could cause because of it ", concluded Kankaraš.

Today, several media outlets, including the "Vijesti" portal, received a statement from the e-mail profesorigimnazije@gim-pg.edu.me, signed "Professori Gimnazije".

The "News" portal, after telephone remarks by several teachers of the Gymnasium, requested that the authenticity of the address be confirmed with signatures, after which it would be published.

That has not happened so far.

Today, a protest was organized in front of the Gymnasium due to the sexual harassment of a former student of the "Slobodan Škerović" Gymnasium.
