It is with deep regret that I received the news about the tragic event that took place in the Zagreb elementary school, announced the President of Montenegro, Jakov MIlatović.

"I sincerely regret the loss of a young life and the family of the victim child, and I express my sincere condolences to the entire Croatian public. I wish the injured a speedy recovery, and I send a message of support and sympathy to all those affected by this tragedy. In these difficult moments, Montenegro is with you in my thoughts," wrote Milatović on the X social network.

In the horrific crime that shook Croatia and the region yesterday, a seven-year-old child was killed, and several children and a teacher were seriously injured when a 19-year-old attacker armed with a knife entered an elementary school in the suburbs of Zagreb. Among the injured is the attacker who tried to commit suicide, but was prevented by the police, after which he was arrested.
