The Network for the Affirmation of the Non-Governmental Sector (MANS) welcomed the decision of the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (ASK), which states that the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, violated the Law on the Financing of Entities and Political Campaigns when, during the campaign for the Podgorica elections, he was in the official premises - the President's Cabinet recorded the video "President Milatović - Power is in your hands".
MANS said that they recognize that decision as a contribution to the creation of a new practice of zero tolerance for violations of the Law on the Financing of Political Entities and Election Campaigns.
They said that, on the other hand, Milatović's reaction was disappointing.
"Which is a reflection of a fundamental unwillingness to accept responsibility for breaking the law, but also to make a constructive contribution to much-needed reforms in this area," reads the post on Iks.
