The film "The Water Paradise of Europe - Tara River" will be shown at the Mojkovac Cultural Center on December 26 at 20 p.m. It is also the Montenegrin premiere of the documentary, which was realized under the auspices of the German-French TV Arta.
The film about Tara is part of a series of five films called "Water Paradise", which talks about the beauty of rivers and lakes in Europe, and premiered in Germany a year ago. It was recorded during 2022.
As explained by the Mojkovac Tourist Organization (TO), it is a fascinating story about the "pearl of Montenegro". As previously announced, the film "caused great sympathy and very positive reactions" in Germany.
Mihael Bader, who is part of the team that realized that realization, told RTCG last year that it is a story that "follows the river from its source to its end". It starts in Opasanica and Veruša, where the sources of Tara are, and ends in Šćepan polje.
The goal of the film crew was, said Bader, "to show the natural beauty, but what is very important, the life of the people who live next to it and what their habits are and what they face".
"In Opasanica, the team met with Dragan Vešović, who showed them the sources and he first appears in the film, after him they talked with Marko Blažević, but also Ivana Vujović, who organizes rafting, and Zlatko Karadžić, who showed how it is made Durmitor tea. More people appear in the film, and the team visited the Dobrilovina monastery, where they filmed some spectacular shots. The fantastic jump of Rado Šćepanović, who immortalized all the beauty of Tara, is being recorded," Bader previously shared the details of the documentary.
In the film, it is possible to see "all the beauty of the bridge on Đurđevića Tara".
