The Board of Directors of the Budva Municipal Company invited the competent institutions to investigate how it is possible that they were dismissed based on the signature of the acting director of that municipal company. Dear Drago Ivanovic, although they were all informed that the right to sign is with the new acting director Ilija Gigovic which was registered in the Central Register of Business Entities (CRPS), the banks paid the November earnings from the municipal company's account.

The board of directors rejected Ivanović's accusations that they had incited workers to strike and that they had carried out a political coup.

"We found ourselves in an incredible situation that is unprecedented not only in Budva, but in the whole of Montenegro, where the seals and activity book of a municipal/state enterprise with assets worth millions have been misused for over a month. Also, I would like to mention that the legally and legitimately elected Acting Executive Director Ilija Gigović, who was enrolled in the CRPS almost a month ago, cannot access his office because the dismissed Acting Executive Director Predrag Ivanović refuses to hand over and, together with the group gathered around him, has been usurping the state office for a month. property. The most recent thing, which happened only a few days ago, is that Predrag Ivanovic, without the knowledge of the Board of Directors and without its decision, entered into a business worth about 150 thousand euros by deciding to pay winter wages in a supermarket chain in Budva instead of cash. as a form of compensation for a large debt", stated the vice president of the Board of Directors Rasko Radulović.

He said that because of everything, they decided to include the Ministry of Finance, the Directorate for Public Investment Management and Public Procurement Policy.

"We informed all these institutions about the obvious violation of laws and procedures because one supermarket chain was selected without a selection process from among several offers, and in this way it is not known whether it is the most favorable offer. In this regard, the group gathered around the former director of Predrag Drago Ivanović committed a new criminal offense - abuse in connection with public procurement from Article 272c paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code of Montenegro, but also that they committed a more serious offense from Article 211 paragraph 1 point 1 of the Law and public procurement. What is unbelievable, and what we are afraid of, is that we will end up in a situation where, due to the actions of the former acting executive director, we will have to pay a fine of 20 thousand euros", said Radulović.

Member of the Board of Directors Veselinka Kalezić she invited the competent institutions to investigate how Predrag Drago Ivanović, who was relieved of his duties as acting executive director on November 11, and when Ilija Gigović was appointed as the new acting director of CRPS on November 28, could sign the payment of the November salary.

"First of all, the vice president of the municipality Nikola Jovanovic will have to explain on the basis of which he transferred money from the Municipality's budget to the Municipal Company, about 300 thousand euros, when the Plan and Program for 2025 was not adopted, without a final account, without an inventory, and the company was in debt for at least the next five years . The utility company needs at least 400 thousand euros for salaries every month. I also ask, how could any employee of the banks where the account of the Municipal Enterprise is to release the salary when they received a notification from the CRPS about the dismissal of Ivanović", stated Kalezić.

She pointed out that the Municipal Corporation owes as much as 2023 thousand euros in taxes and contributions for 2024 and 600.

"I ask from whom they bought the trucks, at what price and how many kilometers they have traveled, and they are shown as new. Who handed out 24 employment contracts six days before the elections, on November 11 to be exact, and drove five workers, children from Budva who have been working since 2021, out of work. They tell us that the Board of Directors incited the workers against Ivanovic and the Municipal Company. We responsibly claim that none of us communicated with any worker. Unfortunately, on the evening of December 14, Predrag Ivanović, MP and MV were in the Palestina settlement and threatened the workers and shifted all the blame for the situation in the company to the Board of Directors. The same thing was done the next day by the MP and MV. Why, if you are so correct and work according to the law, are you frantically hiding the seals and the seduction book", asked Kalezić.

According to her, since November 11, the Board of Directors has not been able to file any documents, nor has it been able to find any documents.

"Who works for politics, to the detriment of the company and the Municipality, and who works according to the law and in favor of the company, time and results will show."
