The Public Relations Service of the Capital City of Podgorica announced that Mujović, together with his deputies, Nađa Ljiljanić and Boris Spalević, and the Secretary for Financial Affairs and Budget Analysis, Balša Špadijer, visited the city company "Čistoća" today in order to get acquainted with the current challenges in work and jointly considered future steps towards achieving the goal - which is a clean and orderly Podgorica.

"The functioning of the city, i.e. the quality of life of the citizens, largely depends on cleanliness. In the previous period, we witnessed that the cleanliness in the city was not at a high level, and this is something that the new city administration absolutely wants to improve, to the benefit and satisfaction of our citizens. That is why my first working visit, together with my colleagues, is to the city's Čistoča, in order to see first-hand what the problems and challenges are, as well as the key steps in the coming period," said Mujović.
He added that the situation is further complicated by legislation that is not adequate in terms of maintaining cleanliness in the city.
"We are here to fight and we will make maximum efforts to make the quality of life in this city as good as possible. Today we have agreed on certain steps that need to be taken and we invite the cooperation of our citizens, so that together we can start slowly adopting some European standards in the way of waste disposal. We have to change our consciousness and be jointly dedicated to this task, and then expect big steps in this direction," said Mujović.
He pointed out that the city "Čistoća", thanks to the previous city administration, has quite a sufficient number of trucks for waste removal, that there are never too many field workers, but that here there is an excess of administrative staff, an excess of those who are on sick leave, and that makes everything even more difficult. operations of this company.
