The leader of United Montenegro, Goran Danilović, announced that he will sue both the Government and the Minister of Education, Science and Innovation, Anđela Jakšić - Stojanović, for the dismissal of the director of the Agency for Control and Quality Assurance of Higher Education,
Danilović was removed from that position last night at an electronic session of the Government, and Tatjana Ćalasan was appointed as the acting director of the Agency for Control and Quality Assurance of Higher Education in his place.
In a statement, he stated that Jakšić Stojanović "finally got the axe in her pocket because she dismissed 'a politician whom no one will regret'".
He also claims that the minister "bragged" about the dismissal and that she "finished the job for her friends."
"For those who long ago began the shameful destruction of the higher education system, for those who had no shame, but had enough stolen money to establish universities and faculties. This and similar purges will once again appeal to the DPS and the hawks who believe that Serbs - and certainly Chetniks, from August 30, 2020, should be just extras and voting machines in the parade of half the world. Bravo to the Minister; with this she bought them forever, and they have bought her forever."
Danilović also announced that Jakšić Stojanović "knows very well" what he thinks about her ministry and that "she couldn't have turned out better considering that she came to this position as a reserve of reserves."
"I have never been forgiven for having revived and respected the Law on Higher Education, for the fact that certain 'Institutions' could not negotiate with the Agency about accreditation and re-accreditation, nor could they agree with the director to turn a blind eye."
Danilović also claims that Jakšić Stojanović requested that his dismissal be voted on at an electronic session of the Government "in order to avoid those who expressed an opinion, or were against it, from asking anything or asking for clarification."
The United Party leader also said that he was dismissed because the second-place candidate in the test, a year and a half ago, sued the Government, and the Administrative Court recently accepted the aforementioned lawsuit.
He also claims that the Government "could hardly wait to lose the dispute" because then he alone "became collateral damage."
"Bravo to the Government, bravo to its secretariat, to the Chief of Staff and to the Prime Minister. There is no anger, on the contrary. Only small-scale people imagine revenge like this. Bravo to the Government's majority, which in my case consisted of ministers from PES, BS, Albanian parties and Mr. D.Š. Until last night, I had no rights in this dispute, not even the right to appeal, because I am only a party to the proceedings, and the defendant (the Government) had all the rights and did not exercise any of them," said Danilović.
He also states that the decision of the Administrative Court Council, "however ordered," did not mean that he had to be removed, but that the Government had to eliminate the shortcomings pointed out by the court.
