After Miolje Polje, Liverovići and Zagrad, the village of Kuta in Župa, Nikšić, one of the largest in the area, will also get a multifunctional playground.

"The tender has been completed and I expect, weather permitting, that the works will start in January. The value of the project is around 30.000 euros, and it will be financed by the Municipality of Nikšić. In this way, we continue the dynamics that we have established in the Local Community of Župa to devote the greatest attention to children, and Kuta is the largest village in our local community with around a thousand inhabitants, and there are just over 220 children," the president of the Local Community Council told "Vijesti". Dragoljub Radulović.

The field, which will be 30 by 17 meters, will have goals and baskets, while benches will be placed around it. The locals hope that after the construction of the field, the pedestrian bridge over the Mačak stream, which leads to the field, will also be reconstructed.

Radulović reminded that playgrounds for children have been built in several villages.

"At the 'Dušan Bojović' Elementary School in Miolje Polje, we built a large multifunctional field with a tartan surface. We built a playground, also with a tartan surface, at the branch office in Liverovići, a large sports field in the village of Zagrad. Last year, we reconstructed the sports hall with the help of a donation from the 'MK Group' company, and these days the steam heating system at the 'Dušan Bojović' Elementary School will be put into operation. The project is worth around 180.000 euros and was financed through the American Embassy," said Radulović.

According to him, they have a lot of plans for the Local Community for this year, and, as he pointed out, they include the youngest residents of the area, because without them there is no future.

"This year, we plan to provide materials in the village of Morakovo and complete the fence around the playground and bring that part to its intended purpose. The residents of Dučica organized themselves and purchased a property near the home in that village. A parking lot for the chapel will be built on that part, and within that property we will look to create appropriate content, including a playground for children," said the president of the local community Župa.
