The previous demarcation process between the Capital City and the municipalities of Tuzi and Zeta was inefficient and these processes should be completed as soon as possible, it was assessed at a meeting between Minister of Public Administration Maraš Dukaj and the leadership of these local governments.
Dukaj met today with the Mayor of the Capital City, Saša Mujović, and the presidents of the municipalities of Tuzi and Zeta, Lindon Đeljaj and Mihailo Asanović.
As announced by the Ministry of Public Administration (MPA), the topic of the meeting was the demarcation between the Capital City and the municipalities of Tuzi and Zeta, which had previously separated from it.
It is stated that the meeting was held at the initiative of Dukaj, with the aim of harmonizing the dynamics of the demarcation process and ensuring the normal functioning of these local self-government units.
The MPA said that the meeting assessed that the previous demarcation process was inefficient, and that all participants expressed their willingness to complete these processes as soon as possible.
"In this regard, the dynamics of the work were agreed upon and it was agreed that undisputed issues would be processed immediately, as well as that all measures and actions would be taken to resolve disputed points in the demarcation and division of property, so that only what is necessary would be entrusted to arbitration," the statement said.
The Ministry announced that it will provide support to local self-government units to reach a final solution, to the satisfaction of everyone, and first and foremost the citizens.
