The Eco Fund, in cooperation with the Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Northern Development, through the project "Integrating Biodiversity into Sector Policies and Practices and Strengthening Biodiversity Focal Points (GEF7)", has announced a Public Call for Support for Agricultural Practices Aimed at Preserving and Protecting Biodiversity, worth 450.000 euros.

The support measures envisaged by the call include: conservation of endangered breeds/varieties of domestic animals and plants - 175.000 euros; conservation of biodiversity on permanent grasslands and arable land - 100.000 euros; conservation of landscape features (drystone walls, hedges) - 175.000 euros.

The applicant must meet the following conditions: must be registered in the relevant registers for at least 12 months; must gather a minimum of five end users - agricultural producers; end users must be registered in the Register of Agricultural Holdings.

The application deadline is 45 calendar days from the announcement of the competition, ending on February 13, 2025, by 15 p.m., for delivery of documentation by registered mail to the Eco-Fund address.
