Starting this year, children from Piva have free access to the "Jaglika Adžić" kindergarten in Plužine, and elementary and high school students can stay in the Student Center.
The decision on financing the costs of accommodation and food for children in kindergarten and in the Student Home was adopted by the councilors of the Plužine Municipal Assembly at their session in October, and the decision has been implemented since January 1 of this year. The decisions were made to create more favorable conditions and improve the quality of education, as well as to include as many children as possible in kindergarten and provide support to parents and children who are educated outside their place of residence.
This school year, 38 children are enrolled in the kindergarten, 18 of whom are under the age of three, and 20 of whom are between the ages of three and six. As for the Student Dormitory, it houses five elementary school students and twice as many high school students.
As of this year, all children living in the municipality of Plužine and under the age of 18 are entitled to a monthly allowance of 30 euros.
