The restaurant and beach bar at the fashionable Galija beach, on Crvena glavica near Sveti Stefan, were destroyed after several rocks weighing several tons fell from the slope above this beach.
The tenant who came to the beach this morning to start decorating was greeted by a collapsed roof and a portion of the inventory destroyed, while one of the rocks remained over part of the beach bar.
As Vijesti was told, this happens every year, and due to the unresolved problem of the slope and steepness of the hill above this hidden beach, it collapses, so in 2019, as now, their restaurant was completely destroyed.
The tenant is ready to immediately begin remediation of the terrain and construction of a retaining wall, as there is a serious concern that such an incident could occur during the summer season, which would endanger bathers.
Galija is considered a popular bathing spot and hundreds of tourists relax there during the summer.
