Podgorica and Nikšić residents are cleaning Budva starting tonight - Gigović agreed to end the chaos

Ilija Gigović, Acting Director of Komunalno doo Budva, agreed today with Andrija Babović, Secretary of the Secretariat for Communal Affairs from Podgorica, to urgently clean Budva.

Gigović, as Vijesti was told, also called on the mayor of Nikšić, Marko Kovačević, for help.

It is expected that during the night or early in the morning, at the call of the new director Ilija Gigović, trucks and teams will set off, one could say, to save Budva from the epidemic and chaos that has never been seen before.

In his request to Andrija Babović and Marko Kovačević, Gigović described the catastrophic situation on the streets of Budva and indicated that teams from Nikšić and Podgorica would be available 24 hours a day to resolve the chaos as soon as possible.

"As you know, our DOO 'Komunalno' Budva was devastated by the illegal action of the former management. As the director and management of the company, I am sure you have been informed by the media, I have not been allowed to take over the management of the company for almost three months. Budva has been in a state of complete chaos for several days now because the employees refuse to clean the city because they have not been paid their personal salaries. Because of all the above, your support is of immense importance to us. Please provide us with temporary support in cleaning the city. This would mean sending the vehicles of your JP Čistoća together with the crew to Budva," Gigović stated.

In the event of injury or overtime work, as stated in the application, we agree that we will bear the costs.

"Please keep in mind that I am available to you 24 hours a day because the situation in Budva is alarming and a major epidemic is on the verge," Gigović emphasized and concluded:

"I emphasize and remind you that you can call me at any time because the health of citizens is at stake. I will personally coordinate with my associates in cleaning the city."

He added to "Vijesti" that from tomorrow, Budva will look like itself again, despite "the enormous efforts of the bandits who led the collective to prevent this from happening and to ensure that a state of chaos prevails."
