After they received assurances from the Municipality of Budva that they would be paid their December salary first, and in a few days, when the calculation and January salary were completed, the cleaning of the city began.
The Vice President of the Municipality of Budva, Nikola Jovanović, told the workers of the Public Utilities Company that their salaries have been secured and that they can go to work.
Jovanović then said that he would not allow another tourist season to be wasted, and asked the employees at Komunalno to get back to work as soon as possible.
The police and prosecutor's office are investigating all the circumstances surrounding the five-day strike that led to 150 tons of garbage being found on the streets of Budva.
