Vice President of the Municipality of Budva Nikola Jovanovic he named Goran Radević for Acting Secretary of the Secretariat for Social Affairs.
This was confirmed by the "News" in the Municipality.
Jovanović signed the decision at the end of last week ahead of the constitutive session of the local parliament, when it was not known whether the now clear parliamentary majority, gathered around Jovanović's list "Budva our city", the European Union and the Civic Movement URA with the support of the opposition Democratic Party of Socialists, would elect the speaker of the parliament. Petar Odžić and thereby define the future four-year government.
As "Vijesti" was told by the Municipality, Radević's expertise was recommended. He is the former Director General of the Directorate for Higher Education at the Ministry of Education, and is a classroom teacher.
Radević was entrusted with managing one of the most important secretariats that coordinates cultural institutions and sports teams, and issues key acts and documents in these areas in order to accelerate development. He was an assistant minister of education when he held that position. Miomir Vojinović.

The administration of the Municipality of Budva has been in place for two years, since the city was helmed by the still-detained mayor. Milo Bozovic is in an acting state.
Of the 20 officials who hold key positions in local government, 90 percent are acting. In addition to the fact that Božović only appointed a vice president in the middle of last year, no competitions have been held for his closest associates.
The current situation, judging by the official information from the Budva Municipality website, is only not in the Service of the Chief Administrator, the Service of the Chief City Architect and the Service of Protection and Rescue. Acting officials are in the Secretariat for Investments, the Secretariat for Communal and Housing Affairs, the Secretariat for Property Protection and the Secretariat for Local Self-Government. The Secretariat for Finance, the Secretariat for Economy, the Secretariat for Urban Planning and Sustainable Development do not have any leading people, or secretaries, and they are managed by assistants, most of whom are also acting officials.
The acting position is also in the Municipal Police and the Municipal Inspection, the acting director of the Local Public Revenue Administration is also in charge, and the acting position is also in the Public Procurement Service and the Information Technology Service.
The latest appointment of Jovanović, who will most likely also take over the position of mayor, is the introduction to the constitution of a new city administration, which is expected to unblock the work of services and contribute to their greater efficiency.
The Municipality of Budva cannot boast of any results in the development of the city in recent years. Practically no capital project that would revive the city has been implemented, and poor coordination between companies and services was particularly visible during the summer season, which is one of the worst prepared in the city's history.
It is expected that the new government, after the mayor is elected, will be conceived. Although politicians are full of talk that professional people will be appointed to management positions, through advertisements, it is unlikely that they will deviate from the decades-old practice of distributing positions in the city administration, businesses, cultural and sports institutions, and the media exclusively along party lines and the suitability of those at the top of the city administration.
He won't even move the Municipality for 10.000 euros.
The Vice President of the Municipality of Budva, Nikola Jovanović, canceled the tender for the selection of the most favorable bidder who was to be entrusted with the painting of the offices of local government bodies.
"The simple procurement procedure for painting the official premises of the Budva municipality is being annulled because no bids were submitted," reads the decision signed by Jovanović.
The municipality, as stated in this public advertisement, offered to allocate ten thousand euros from the city treasury for painting the offices, but no one was interested.
