The Vujisić family, whose house in the Zagorič neighborhood of Podgorica was destroyed by a fire in early January, leaving them homeless, is still waiting for more significant assistance from the Capital City, despite numerous donations.
"We're still waiting. We really have a lot of donations and I think we'll manage to cover the costs of the repair. Some companies have even offered free services," said Teodora Vujisić, whose house caught fire.

As "Vijesti" was unofficially told, the Capital City will help the Vujisićs who were left homeless at the beginning of January, but they are currently "hindered by temporary funding."
Vujisić previously said that the fire started when "the chimney broke off and started to crack."
"The fire broke out outside, and then the roof burned completely. Our attic was full of boards and everything burned like it was made of paper," Vujisić said earlier.
The ceiling, she said, collapsed first in her room, and then in her brother's room.
"What could be saved from clothing and footwear was pulled out and saved," Vujisić said earlier.
She emphasized that the Capital City Protection and Rescue Service responded immediately. Vujisić also pointed out that it was "great luck that no one in the family was injured."
The Capital City Protection and Rescue Service said at the time that their firefighters found the roof burned down, but that they managed to save the interior of the house.
"We also managed to prevent the fire from spreading to neighboring houses," said the commander of the Podgorica Service, Zdravko Blečić.
The city administration previously told "Vijesti" that, after the Damage Assessment Commission completes its part of the work, it will make an appropriate decision on providing assistance to the Vujisić family, "about which the public will be informed in a timely manner."
