The President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, has scheduled the continuation of the session of the Defense and Security Council for Friday, February 7, at 11 a.m., the Public Relations Office of the President of Montenegro announced today.
"The continuation of the 36th session according to the previously established agenda and the 37th session of the Defense and Security Council will be held at Villa 'Gorica' on Friday, February 7th at 11 a.m. At the 37th session, members of the Council will discuss the security situation in the country and consider proposed decisions of the Ministry of Defense relating to exercises and training abroad in 2025," the statement said.
It is added that the members of the Council will also consider the Initiative of the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation and the Ministry of Health to introduce police officers in educational and health institutions in Montenegro, and the request of the Defense Trade Union and the Army of Montenegro relating to the rights of employees in the Army of Montenegro.
"The Council will consider draft decisions of the Ministry of Defense on the appointments, dismissals, and appointments of officers of the Army, as well as other issues within its jurisdiction. After the session, the Public Relations Office of the President of Montenegro will issue a press release and provide the media with photographs and video footage from the beginning of the session," the statement reads.
