The Prosecutorial Council (PC) has nominated Filip Jovović as president of the Commission for the Code of Ethics of State Prosecutors, and Stevan Brajušković as his deputy.
The TS reminded that the president of the Commission that monitors the implementation of the Code of Ethics for State Prosecutors, as well as his deputy, are elected and dismissed by the Conference of State Prosecutors.
The President of the Commission and his deputy, in accordance with the Rules of Procedure of the Commission for the Code of Ethics of State Prosecutors, are elected from among the members of the Prosecutorial Council who are not state prosecutors.
As announced, at today's session, the Council adopted the Report on the Implementation of the Work Plan of the Prosecutorial Council for the period September - December last year and adopted the Work Plan for the next six-month period.
The session also reportedly discussed complaints about the work of state prosecutors and heads of state prosecutors' offices regarding the legality of their work.
"The Prosecutorial Council gave the opinion that seven complaints were unfounded, one was founded, while for one complaint it gave the opinion that it was not a complaint about the work of the state prosecutor and the head of the state prosecutor's office in terms of the legality of the work," the statement said.
