The rehabilitation of the landslide in Pričelje in Piperi began a few days ago, and if weather conditions permit, it will be completed in two months, the acting director of the Agency for Construction and Development of Podgorica told "Vijesti". Dragan Senic.
According to him, the public call was opened on December 25th last year, and several bidders applied to carry out the work.
"Four bidders applied and the commission reviewed the submitted bids. In addition to prices, there are licenses, but also references and everything that a contractor needs to have to perform the work in a quality manner according to the public invitation. We complied with all legal deadlines and procedures in that public invitation. The company 'Avio Petrol' was given the opportunity to perform the work," explained Senić.
According to him, in the middle of last week, the legal conditions were met for the contractor to be introduced to the landslide rehabilitation work.
"In Pričelje, almost 100 meters long. Of course, geological research was done before that. The landslide rehabilitation project was done by Professor Dr. Zvonko Tomanović from the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the University of Montenegro (UCG). Supervision of the execution of works will be carried out by the Agency for Construction and Development of Podgorica. We will also carry out all future supervisions, because practice has shown that the supervisions carried out on numerous facilities are not in accordance with the profession", he said.
Senić claims that it was the right decision and that many "anomalies during the execution of the work have been eliminated."
"The tender call stipulates that the rehabilitation of the landslide in Pričelje - a local road - will also include the construction of retaining walls almost six meters high. The works are scheduled to be completed within 90 calendar days, but if the weather cooperates, the deadline will be shorter," said Senić, calling on citizens to be patient "until the works are completed in a quality manner in accordance with the profession and to everyone's satisfaction."
