The Council of the Faculty of Dramatic Arts (FDU) supported the demands of the informal group of students "Kamo Śutra", who are demanding the dismissal of the Minister of Interior Danilo Šaranović and Deputy Prime Minister Aleksa Bečič due to the tragedy in Cetinje.

The Council called for the fulfillment of the demands of the student group "Kamo Śutra", joining, as they stated, the demand for full responsibility for the tragic events in Cetinje.

"The FDU Council expresses its support for the demands of the informal student group "Kamo Śutra" and calls for their fulfillment," reads a statement from the FDU Council published on the faculty's website.

They believe it is their responsibility and obligation to constructively support students in their pursuit of building a better and more responsible society.

"With our support, we also express solidarity with the local community to which we belong and join in seeking full responsibility for the tragic events," the statement said.

It is added that they want to encourage the importance of the culture of protests that were launched by this student initiative.

"In this way, we express our willingness to learn from students and, together with them, promote the importance of social empathy and advocacy of the public interest, which students clearly promote with their demands," the statement said.

The FDU Council said that students have the right to impose topics that they believe are important for the development of society.

"Such an approach is the most valuable platform for the development of civil society, in addition to all other important development aspects, political, cultural and economic, for which we, as part of the academic community, have a responsibility," the FDU Council concluded in a statement.

The informal group of students "Kamo Śutra" has organized several gatherings in Podgorica, and since Monday they have been organizing daily road blockades and "23 minutes of noise" in protest of unfulfilled demands after the tragedy in Cetinje.

They are demanding the dismissal of Šaranović and Bečić and more prompt and proactive action by the competent institutions regarding the issue of weapons possession.

Students are also calling for the return of civic education as a mandatory subject in all primary and secondary schools and for improved institutional approaches to mental health care.

Prime Minister Milojko Spajić, in response to the demands of the group "Where Tomorrow?", said that all members of the Government are subject to change, after an evaluation of their work and a detailed analysis of their performance.
