The Government of Montenegro and the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts (CANU) strengthened the cohesion and synergy needed by the state, and by working to strengthen relations, significant results were achieved in the first half of this year, it was assessed at the meeting between Prime Minister Duško Marković and CANU President Dragan Vukčević.
It was established that the new impulses, given during the visit of the Prime Minister to CANU in December last year, enabled better cooperation between the Academy and relevant ministries, to work intensively on numerous agreed projects.
"Thanking Marković for his personal contribution to the improvement of cooperation, Vukčević informed about the plans for the implementation of new CANU projects that are of interest to the state and, above all, strengthening the identity," says the announcement from the Government.
Vukčević said that the Academy is open to new people and pointed to the growing interest of young people.
The desire and efforts to start with the reconstruction of the building where CANU is located by the end of the year were jointly stated.
