In addition, the natural beauties of the northern shore of Lake Skadar offer great potential for further tourism development. In this endeavor, the Parliament of Montenegro will be your reliable partner," said Pejović.

Camaj: A significant economic factor for all of Montenegro
Vice President of the Parliament of Montenegro Nikola Camaj congratulated the Zeta Municipality's leadership on the Day of the Municipality, and the citizens of Zeta.
"Since I myself come from one of the newer municipalities in Montenegro, I know what it means for citizens to have their own administration. It is a relief to faster and easier valorization of their own resources and a great incentive for the development and perspective of citizens. I am also aware of the great difficulties and challenges that every newly formed municipality, including Zeta, faces, which is why state support is important. Zeta is a significant economic factor of all of Montenegro, whose wealth is reflected both in its natural potential and in its hardworking people who are engaged in the economy. I am certain that this municipality will succeed in further progress and achieving the set goals that are a guarantee of quality life and work in Zeta," said Camaj.

The glorious state-building history of this area, where the Vojislavljevićs, Nemanjićs, Balšićs, and Crnojevićs ruled, in which the spark of Orthodoxy was never extinguished thanks to Zeta's Holy Mountain and the monasteries of the Serbian Orthodox Church on Lake Skadar, obliges us, the people of Zeta, but also the state of Montenegro, to do everything possible to ensure that its dazzling historical splendor illuminates its future with the contents of the present," said Knežević.

The President of the Club of Deputies and Secretary General of the Democrats, Boris Bogdanović, congratulated the leadership of the Municipality and the citizens of Zeta on the Day of the Municipality.
"Today's Zeta is the proud heir to the former great medieval state of Zeta, which stood steadfastly as a solid pillar of the war-torn Balkans. Your ancestors, with their blood shed for freedom, laid the foundations of today's modern, European and proud Montenegro, a Montenegro that will do everything to ensure that the citizens of its youngest municipality live a decent life, worthy of our ancestors, and worthy of the descendants of Zeta and future guardians of its heritage," said Bogdanović.
Lake Skadar and the fertile Zeta Plain, as he pointed out, must be the key to the development of this area, but also of all of Montenegro, through thorough and thoughtful development of agriculture and tourism, which will be an economic drive from which the people of Zeta will only benefit.

"From the founding of the municipality to the present day, Zeta has shown that it can independently and successfully build its future, relying on hardworking people, agriculture as the main economic sector, and a rich history. Zeta occupies a special place in Montenegrin history. Back in the Middle Ages, it was the core of statehood under the Balšić dynasty, when it became the center of political and cultural life. Over the centuries, the people of Zeta have shown perseverance and courage in the fight to preserve their identity, from the Ottoman conquests to more recent times. Today, as an independent municipality, Zeta has the opportunity to continue its development, relying on the rich heritage and resources it possesses," said Popović.
She believes that Zeta, with good organization and support, will continue to improve in the interest of all citizens.
