335.747 euros were raised for the treatment of little girl Mija Popović, who is suffering from a malignant pelvic bone tumor.
This was said by Marijan Mašić, president of the Parents' Council of the "Dr Dragiša Ivanović" Elementary School from Podgorica, where the donor evening was organized.
In addition to citizens, the evening was attended by President Jakov Milatović, Mayor Saša Mujović, and Deputy Mayor Nađa Ljiljanić.
Mia addressed the audience via video message, saying that the support meant a lot to her.
"My heart is full when I see that all of Montenegro has united in defeating Miroslav together, I am sure we will succeed. I send you lots of love and greetings from Belgrade."

Milatović thanked the Parents' Council and the school management for the invitation and initiative, and everyone who participated in the donation evening and thus provided support to the girl.
"Along with her family and friends, we are here to tell her that we are with her, that her smile has the support of all of us, and that as a society we will do everything in our power to make her tomorrow better. Dear Mia, we are waiting for you here when you overcome the disease," Milatović said, as reported by Media Biro.
Mašić said that the action united Montenegro, as well as part of the region.
"Let this evening be an example to everyone of how little it takes to forget our differences, to unite and to breathe as one. A total of 335.747 euros was raised for Mia," he said.
Mia's brother Nemanja Popović said that the evening was not organized to tell a story about illness, but rather a story about victory.

"Tonight we will not talk about suffering, but rather we will celebrate life, just as we will soon celebrate Mia's victory over Miroslav. When we defeat Miroslav and when our Mia is fully healed and recovered, all remaining funds will be directed to where they are needed most," he said.
