At an electronic session held on February 10 and 11, the Council of the Faculty of Law, by a majority vote of all Council members, supported the informal student group "Where Tomorrow" and their activities so far, the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Law of the University of Montenegro (UCG) announced.
"The Council of the Faculty of Law provides support to the informal student group "Kamo sjutra" and their activities so far, which we see as an expression of a sincere desire to contribute to the healing of Montenegrin society. We firmly believe that the students' demands are well-intentioned and stem from the need to build a more responsible and safer society," reads a statement signed by the Chairwoman of the Council of the Faculty of Law, Aneta Spaić.
It is added that the academic community bears great responsibility on the path towards a more responsible and safer society.
"And we are sure that students, as an important part of it, demonstrate the perseverance and empathy we need through their previous activities. It is our responsibility and greatest duty to support and protect them in such a plan. We expect and believe that the competent institutions will be attentive to this and other forms of socially engaged activity of all Montenegrin students," the statement reads.
