Visits to patients at the Clinical Center of Montenegro (KCCG) have been suspended as of today due to the worsening epidemiological situation and the increase in the number of people suffering from influenza and similar diseases, the health institution announced.
The KCCG said that this decision was made in accordance with the recommendations of the Institute of Public Health and that visits will be suspended until the epidemiological situation improves.
"Information about the health condition of patients can be obtained by immediate family members (spouse, parents or children) at the registry office by telephone," the statement said.
It is stated that the Department of Hospital Epidemiology will continue to monitor the trend of respiratory diseases in the coming period and, based on the epidemiological situation, propose measures to prevent and combat hospital infections.
The KCCG asked citizens for their understanding and cooperation, as well as to adhere to measures aimed at reducing the incidence of flu.
