5.533.029 euros were invested in the Emergency Medical Service of Montenegro in the period from June 2021 to December 2024, of which the Institute's own funds amounted to 1.082.789 euros, or 20 percent.
This is stated in the Institute's statement on its results in the aforementioned period.
During that period, 13 units were adapted and equipped with modern medical equipment, while work is underway on adapting five more.
It is also emphasized that 1.777.500,00 euros were allocated from budget funds (32%), 1.472.240,00 euros from European projects (27%), 762.300,00 euros (14%) were allocated from the Capital Projects Administration, and 393.200 euros (7%) were provided from donations.
"Investing funds in modernizing the Institute today is a safe investment and security in the adequate provision of healthcare to citizens in the future. Organizational culture is of crucial importance, and a sustainable business system is a safe path towards adopting EU standards," said the Director of the Institute for Emergency Medical Care, Vuk Niković.
