The Red Cross of the Royal Capital of Cetinje announced today that in the coming days it will send an initiative to primary schools in Cetinje for more intensive cooperation in the education of children, through programs that do not disrupt the school curriculum, but rather supplement it with useful and practical knowledge.
"The training will be conducted by licensed first aid instructors, and students will have the opportunity to practice their skills with the Red Cross team that won first place in the state first aid competition," the Red Cross of the Royal Capital of Cetinje said in a statement.
The statement states that the Red Cross of the Royal Capital of Cetinje, as part of its long-standing mission of providing assistance and support to the community, continuously implements activities aimed at improving the psychosocial protection of citizens, providing first aid education and developing volunteerism among young people.
"We place special emphasis on first aid education in primary schools, because we believe it is important for children and young people to acquire basic knowledge and skills for timely response in emergency situations. In order to further strengthen this segment, in the coming days we will send an initiative to primary schools in Cetinje for more intensive cooperation in the education of children, through programs that do not disrupt the school curriculum, but rather supplement it with useful and practical knowledge. They added that in addition to first aid training, children will have the opportunity to learn about other Red Cross activities and ways in which they can become part of a volunteer club that works within the Red Cross.
"Through the Red Cross volunteer club, we provide young people with the opportunity to actively engage in humanitarian work, gain new knowledge and develop a sense of solidarity and responsibility towards the community. The Red Cross Cetinje calls on all institutions, organizations and individuals to work together to strengthen these programs, in order to contribute to a safer and more humane society through joint efforts. We are open to cooperation with all interested parties who recognize the importance of these activities and want to support or improve them," the Red Cross of the Royal Capital of Cetinje said in a statement.
