Buljarica and Petrovac are ready to welcome the season. We are investing four and a half million euros in the implementation of key investment projects, and all works will be completed by the beginning of summer.

This was stated by the new Mayor of the Municipality of Budva, Nikola Jovanović, who, together with the President of the Municipal Assembly, Petar Odžić, and the Secretary for Investments, Joko Popović, visited the construction sites of capital projects in the area of these two coastal towns this morning.

"We are very pleased to note that investment activities in Buljarica and Petrovac are going well. The Municipality's current investments in the Buljarica area are around four million euros. The investment plan for the previous year is at a record level. This testifies to the improvement of the tourist season ahead. We will witness a good tourist season and this is confirmation that the Municipality of Budva is engaged in the equal development of all parts of its territory," said Jovanović at the construction site of a new road with complete infrastructure on the Slatava River at the entrance to Buljarica.

As he announced, the next step is the preparation of technical documentation for the implementation of the second phase and the connection of the road with the promenade in Buljarica.

Budva Municipal Assembly President Petar Odžić said that by adopting the budget and investment plan for this year at tomorrow's assembly session, the conditions will be created for the implementation of the second phase, but also for the announcement of tenders for the implementation of infrastructure projects that will enable conditions for a better life, as well as tourism business from Kufin to Jaz.

Jovanović then headed with his associates to another construction site in the very heart of Buljarica, where the reconstruction and expansion of a key road in the heart of Buljarica is being carried out.

"I am pleased to say that we have started work on one of the most important roads in Buljarica. The deadline for completion of the works is 180 days, and the value of the works is one and a half million euros. This is the main entrance to Buljarica, which will create much better conditions for the implementation of the tourist season. The construction of this road will enable the so-called lateral connection with the already built infrastructure, as well as with that whose construction is planned in the investment plan for this year," said Jovanović.

The first man of Budva also visited the construction site in the very center of Petrovac, where the rehabilitation of sidewalk surfaces and the construction of a taxi stand on the main street are being carried out.

As he said, this is the main road in Petrovac and the value of the works is 160 thousand euros.

"We expect the works to be completed in the next ten days. We are also working on a project for a press container, a modern way of disposing of waste. By arranging pedestrian areas and solving communal problems, we will contribute to a better realization of the season and this location will be the pride of all citizens of Petrovac," said Jovanović.

After that, he and his team headed to another part of Petrovac, where construction of a two-way street had begun, which, he said, would enable faster access to the beach itself.

He emphasized that the project involves the construction of a new entrance to Petrivac, connecting it to the main highway.

As he said, the value of the investment is 300 thousand euros and the complete supporting communal infrastructure will be built.
