Journalist's response to former director Marinović: Let the prosecutor's office deal with the interests of "Montefarma"

Former director of "Montefarm" Goran Marinović In response to the article "Private 85, State 15 percent of earnings" published in "Vijesti", he claims that the contract is not secret and that it is incorrect that an advance payment was made to the company.

Out of responsibility to the public, it is time to try to determine who deceived the public - "Vijesti" or Mr. Marinović.

Article 9 of the Agreement, signed in April 2023, states that “the parties agree that the provisions of this Agreement, as well as everything related to its content, constitute a trade secret.”

"All information that will be exchanged or that arises as a result of activities carried out in accordance with this agreement will be treated as confidential information and will not be disclosed to the public or given to third parties without the written consent of the other contracting party," it says, among other things, in Article 9.

We also looked for the disputed contract on the Montenegrin Electronic Public Procurement (CEJN) website, where, in accordance with the Public Procurement Law, "Montefarma" tenders for the procurement of goods, works and services are published, but it is not there either.

As for the payment of 30.000 euros, it was recorded in the financial statements of the private company for 2023, under the item “Advances, deposits and sureties received”. We remind you that “Montefarm” paid the amount of 30.000 euros to the private company “Media Marketing” on 24 July 7, while you were the director.

Neither we nor you will judge what interest "Montefarma" had in concluding the disputed contract, but rather the public, the prosecutor's office and the competent courts.
