The strong wind that blew in recent days threatened to knock down the scaffolding on the residential building - Lamela C, in the Podgorica neighborhood of Zabjelo, on which any work is prohibited.
The Ministry of Spatial Planning, Urbanism and State Property (MDUP) told "Vijesti" that they were "prevented from taking action on this matter."
"Since the Basic Court in Podgorica issued a decision prohibiting the Ministry from undertaking demolition, assistance, illegal entry into the property of prosecutors, as well as any other actions that would cause damage to prosecutors... In this regard, we suggest that you contact the competent authority for occupational safety inspection," said the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Member of the Assembly of the Capital City Miloš Maskovic He told "Vijesti" that "the competent department and the investor 'PS gradnja' should ensure the safety of all citizens."
"We must be aware of the fact that across the street from the disputed pier is a children's playground where a large number of our youngest citizens spend their time every day. I think that the MDUP should find a solution to the security problem and solve it in the best interest of the citizens who live there," said Mašković.
The construction of the disputed residential building by the investor "PS Gradnja", known as Lamela C, began in 2017. In mid-January 2024, on the order of the inspection of the department that was then in charge of Janko Odović, the demolition of the building began, but the intervention was suspended the same day.
After that, work was carried out several times in part of the disputed building, which was not previously denied by the apartment owners, who intended to complete the work themselves and move in.
After a violation of the building inspection seal, the Podgorica police also dealt with the disputed lamella. Given that it is an illegally constructed structure, as the Ministry previously told "Vijesti", they sought an answer to the question of how the owners of the apartments in Lamella C were registered in the real estate cadastre.
At the beginning of last year, the Basic Court in Podgorica issued a temporary measure, temporarily prohibiting the state of Montenegro and "Zaštita prostora" from demolishing and making any changes to Lamela C...
