The Municipality of Žabljak donated a new Lada Niva vehicle to the Health Center in Pljevlja, which will be used for the needs of the health center's outpatient service in Žabljak.
The keys to the new vehicle were presented to the director of the Pljevlja Health Center, Branka Stanković, by the mayor of Žabljak, Radoš Žugić. The vehicle was purchased for 21.000 euros.
The health station in Žabljak organizationally belongs to the Health Center in Pljevlja.
Stanković emphasized that the purchase of a new vehicle will improve the provision of health services, especially in rural and difficult-to-access areas of the Žabljak municipality.
She added that the Health Center in Pljevlja will receive another new ambulance in the coming days, worth around 50.000 euros. Around 17.000 euros was donated by the Pljevlja Thermal Power Plant, and the rest of the money was provided by the Health Center.
