The Ulcinj Tourist Organization (TO) assessed the performances at the tourism fairs in Munich and Belgrade, which were held almost at the same time - from February 19 to 23 in the largest city in Bavaria and from 20 to 23 in the capital of Serbia, as very successful.
At the 55th Tourism Fair in Munich, they presented their offer with a special emphasis on camping tourism, which has been particularly popular throughout Europe in recent years.
TO points out that the fair brought together more than a thousand exhibitors from 50 countries, and was visited by around 140.000 people.
“The stand of the Tourist Board of Ulcinj was very well attended, thanks to the attractive offer of campsites and autocamps, which was of particular interest to German tourists. In addition to the Tourist Board of Ulcinj, the stand of the National Tourist Organization (NTO) of Montenegro was also attended by representatives of other Montenegrin tourist organizations, including Bar, Herceg Novi, Podgorica, Plav, Mojkovac, Žabljak, Kolašin and Budva, as well as the HTP 'Budvanska rivijera'”.
They point out that the first independent appearance of TO Ulcinj at the 46th International Tourism Fair in Belgrade was a complete success.
"The prestigious event brought together numerous tourism organizations, agencies and industry professionals, and the TO Ulcinj stand was one of the most visited during all four days of the fair. Director of TO Ćazim Hodžić emphasized the importance of the Serbian market for the Ulcinj municipality, stating that visitors from Serbia accounted for 17 percent of the total number of tourists in the previous year, which represents an increase of 2,5 percent compared to 2023. The TO Ulcinj stand presented numerous tourist attractions, including Ada Bojana, apartments and hotels at affordable prices.
Interest in Ulcinj's offer, it is added, was extremely high, and numerous visitors were informed about the possibilities of vacationing on Ada Bojana, staying in private apartments, hotels, as well as the gastronomic and cultural attractions that the city offers.
"Special fair discounts were organized, allowing visitors to book a vacation in Ulcinj at more favorable prices. One of the most notable moments of the fair was the organization of a prize draw, in which selected participants won free stays during the summer season, which further attracted attention and increased interest in the destination."
They also state that the presentation of the "Friendship World Cup" event, which has been gathering numerous athletes from across the region in Ulcinj for three years, attracted particular attention.
"This sports event aims to strengthen friendly ties through sports and socializing, and the participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the rich offer of Ulcinj as a destination suitable for sports tourism. In addition to numerous visitors, the TO Ulcinj stand was also visited by music and sports legends of the former Yugoslavia, including the famous singer Sergej Cetkovic, former football player Zoran Filipovic, former basketball player Žarko Paspalj and a singer Peđa JovanovićThey expressed their satisfaction with the organization and highlighted the beauty and potential of Ulcinj as one of the most attractive destinations on the Adriatic.
They emphasize that the participation of the Ulcinj Tourist Board at the fairs represents a significant step in promoting the tourist offer of Ulcinj, especially considering the growing interest of tourists from Germany and Serbia.

This is a great recognition for the city and its tourism potential and another confirmation that Ulcinj is becoming an increasingly recognizable destination on the international level, Hodžić commented on the alleged list of the travel editorial staff of the British newspaper Daily Mail, which ranked Ulcinj in fourth place among the 14 most beautiful coastal cities in Europe.
Along with Trogir, which is in 11th place, Ulcinj is the only city on the Adriatic coast on the British magazine's list. In first place is Parga in Greece, in second place is New Quay, Cardigan Bay in Wales, and then follows Saint-Jean-de-Luz in France...
Hodžić pointed out that the rich history, beautiful beaches, authentic old town core and unique hospitality make Ulcinj not only attractive to tourists from the region, but also to visitors from all over the world.
"This recognition further motivates us to improve our offer and make Ulcinj even more attractive to all generations of travelers."
