A large number of children gathered two evenings ago in Jerevanska Street where they watched a film screening in the open, organized by the Đurišić family.
The Đurišić family has been protesting in Zabjela for over 15 days and blocking part of Yerevanska street.
"With this, we wanted to animate the citizens and neighbors and provide some entertainment for our and our neighbors' children, who are all suffering because of our situation," said Danijela Đurišić, adding that they symbolically chose a movie with the super hero, Spider-Man.
Đurišić was surprised by the great response of the children, and she said that everyone was given masks, juices, popcorn...
The support of their neighbors means a lot to them.
She said that she will continue to organize screenings of movies with superheroes, if they are forced to stay on the street.
"This was the first of the films from the "Superheroes against Injustice" 'cycle,'" Đurišić said.
By blocking the street on Zabjelo, the Đurišićs are asking the capital city to pay them compensation for 1.023 square meters of land, which they claim is theirs.
They also scheduled a protest rally for tomorrow at 19 p.m., where they expect the support of certain non-governmental organizations.
"We will organize the meeting in front of number 36 in Jerevanska Street, that is, in a place that is not in my ownership," said Vanja Đurišić earlier.
The Property Directorate of the Capital City claims that the land is their property, while Đurišić states that according to the documentation of the Real Estate Administration, it is his property.
The verdict of the Supreme Court from October last year rejected the proposal to determine compensation for expropriated real estate, among which are the parcels that Đurišić is protesting about.
