On the occasion of International Women's Day, the capital city of Podgorica presented 80 vouchers to mothers in childbirth at the Clinical Center of Montenegro as a sign of attention and support at that special moment in their lives, the capital announced.
"With this gesture, we want to show that we are thinking of our fellow citizens and their families. The capital will continue to work on improving conditions for mothers, because they deserve full attention and support from society," the statement reads.
The gifts were presented on behalf of the Capital City by Deputy Mayor Nađa Ljiljanić and Jelena Borovinić Bojović, and the event was also attended by the Secretary for Social Welfare, the Medical Director of the KCCG, as well as Goran Lazarević, Head of the Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics.
