The University of Montenegro (UCG) is the winner of the annual award for the best institution in the field of education and training for 2024, the Board of Directors of the Association of Managers of Montenegro (AMM) decided upon the proposal of the AMM Presidency.
It has been announced that the award ceremony will be held in May.
As announced by the University of Montenegro, this award confirms the work and contribution of the University of Montenegro in improving the education system, the quality of academic programs, and the development of higher education in the country.
On this occasion, a meeting was held between the Rector of the University of Montenegro Vladimir Božović, the President of AMM Budimir Raičković and the Executive Director of AMM Anđela Radosavović. At the meeting, they discussed the possibility of further strengthening cooperation between the academic and business communities, as well as the importance of investing in knowledge, which represents a key resource for social and economic development.
"Education is not a static process - it is constantly adapting to the needs of the times. The University of Montenegro is committed to improving study programs and strengthening cooperation with the economy, because this is precisely the way for our students to be competitive in a dynamic global environment," Božović emphasized at the meeting, which was also attended by the Vice-Rector for Internationalization of the University of Montenegro, Prof. Dr. Sanja Peković, and the Head of the Rector's Office, Dijana Jovanović.
The UCG statement also states that Raičković added that the UCG, through its many years of activity, not only educates future leaders, but also actively contributes to the development of the economy and society as a whole.
