President of Montenegro JAkov Milatović attended an iftar tonight organized by the Embassy of Turkey.
"The holy month of Ramadan brings with it grace and spiritual gifts to Muslims around the world, while also testifying to the striking place of Islam in the religious treasury of the world in which we live. For Montenegrin society, Islam is an inseparable part of the rich traditional and cultural heritage, of which we are proud and whose values we are obliged to cherish and affirm," Milatović wrote on the X network.
Tonight's iftar, he added, brings the joy of this great holiday, a gathering place from which we send a message of mutual respect between Montenegro and Turkey.
"May the month of Ramadan be filled with love, togetherness and forgiveness," said Milatović.
