Strong winds that blew in the Bijelo Polje municipality during the night damaged several roofs on buildings, houses and outbuildings, and part of the roof also flew off the building of the Home for the Elderly.
The photographs submitted to the VBP portal editorial team show a part of the roof that has been uncovered.
The stormy wind that has been blowing in Bijelo Polje since last night continued to cause material damage this morning.

Several settlements in the Municipality were left without electricity for several hours.
The wind caused damage to the farm of Zoran Krgović from Rasovo.
The wind damaged his greenhouses.
The wind also damaged six greenhouses of the "Konatar" agricultural farm in the Rakonje settlement.

Due to the bad weather, Bijelo Polje firefighters had their hands full during the night and day.
The Commander of the Protection and Rescue Service, Edin Kolić, said that in addition to the nursing home, they also intervened at the building in Nikoljac, where due to high winds they only provided security, as strong gusts of wind made further work impossible.
"In the Zaton settlement, a fire broke out in a meadow caused by an electric shock, but the fire was quickly localized.
Also, the Protection Service intervened in Idrijska Street, where a chimney on a family house caught fire, but the fire was quickly brought under control.
In addition, firefighters were removing broken branches from the main road near the Automobile Association during the night.
"Strong winds are still present this morning, which is why the Protection Service is appealing to citizens to be careful when moving around, especially near buildings and tall trees, in order to avoid possible injuries," said Kolić.
