The Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (ASK) has determined that a public official Miomir Đurišić violated the Law on the Prevention of Corruption on several grounds.

According to the Agency's decision, he held two public positions in the period from the beginning of December 2021 to the beginning of February this year - he was the director of the Podgorica School for Secondary and Higher Vocational Education "Sergije Stanić", but also the president of the Board of Directors of the Institute for Textbooks and Teaching Aids (ZUNS), "for which he received compensation".

According to the ASK, Đurišić also violated the Law by failing to report income from membership in the Board of Directors of the Examination Center in the amount of 2023 euros in the annual asset report for 272,09.

In addition, Đurišić did not declare any real estate or shares.

The decision states that during the investigation, Đurišić told the Agency that the reason he did not declare part of his and his wife's property was the fact that "it was acquired by inheritance, and he was convinced that such property did not fall under the obligation to declare, but without any intention to avoid legal obligations."

"Regarding the income generated from the position of President of the ZUNS Board of Directors, he stated that he believed that it did not fall under the ban, which was a consequence of his ignorance of the changes to the legal framework. Along with his statement, he submitted a letter to the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation (MESI) dated 09.02.2025, in which he resigned from the position of President of the ZUNS Board of Directors," the decision states.

The Agency explained that during the investigation, they accessed several state databases, including the Tax Administration, but also the Real Estate Administration.
