Residents of the villages of Smrduša and Borak, which belong to the Local Community (MZ) Trubjela, and Cerovica and Prigradina, from the MZ Velimlje, from Nikšić, blocked the main road Nikšić–Vilusi for an hour in the village of Podbožur due to the poor macadam road from Podbožur to Smrduša, Borak, Cerovica and Velimlje. They are demanding that the local administration pave 12 kilometers of the road.
During the one-hour blockade, kilometer-long columns of vehicles formed, and those gathered stressed that they would not back down from their demands. The Slovenian Ambassador to Montenegro, Bernarda Gradišnik, was also in the column.

Neither the ambassador's license plates nor her plea to the citizens to let them pass helped, because there was a baby in the car, and as she said, it was a long way to Ljubljana. They were not allowed to pass, and the ambassador, after thanking the citizens and briefly talking to the press, remained waiting in the line.

Just like the football players of the "Lješkopolje" club, from the second league, who had a match scheduled for 14 pm with FC "Igalo", which, as they pointed out, they most likely will not make it to, so they fear that they will be punished with an official score of 3:0 for the hosts.

"No one from the municipality has spoken out, as if we don't exist. We are most likely second- or third-class citizens, no one cares about us," said Momčilo Mićunović, on behalf of the protesting locals.

He pointed out that, before deciding to block the road, they had contacted the local administration several times, but that no one had responded to their requests.
"After the blockade, we did not contact them anymore, because they should have contacted us, since the Mayor stated that he never received the requests we sent, and we sent more than eight requests in which we outlined our problems and asked to see him. The last statement he gave was that he had no idea about it and that he had not received any of it. Now that we are blocking the road here, he is probably aware of our problems," Mićunović pointed out.

The locals have blocked the aforementioned road for the third time, and the next gathering will be in front of the Municipality building.
"Since agricultural work is now underway and people are working on their gardens and properties, we will most likely end the blockades and gather in front of the Municipality building, and we will inform the public about this," said Mićunović.
