The Administration and Judiciary Union postponed a protest planned for Monday due to the Day of Mourning declared by the Government due to the tragedy in North Macedonia.
"Due to the day of mourning declared by the Government due to the great tragedy of young people in our friendly country of North Macedonia, the Main Board of the Administration and Judiciary Union decided at an emergency meeting to postpone the protest scheduled for tomorrow," the Union announced.
They add that the public and membership will be informed about the next date and time of the protest later.
"The protest scheduled for tomorrow, Monday, March 17.03th at 15:30 PM in front of the Government building, primarily due to obligations that are the basic postulates of the trade union movement: solidarity, empathy, piety and humanity, is postponed until a later date to be decided by the Main Board of the Trade Union. The sympathy we feel for the citizens of North Macedonia and our fraternal trade unions from that country obliges us to be in solidarity, and then also obliges us to be responsible for declaring a day of mourning in the country of Montenegro," the statement reads.
