On the occasion of World Forest Day, the Agency for Management of Protected Areas of Podgorica implemented an action in Gorica aimed at removing plant waste from the oak forest on the summit plateau.

Members of the environmental section of the "Milorad Musa Burzan" Elementary School, high school students of the STEM club of the "Petar I Petrović Njegoš" High School from Danilovgrad, members of the Association of Gorica and Nature Lovers, and other citizens also joined in the action.

In a short time, thanks to the organized and dedicated work of all those present, a large amount of dry branches that were choking the biodiversity of this part of Gorica were collected next to the walking path, the Agency for Protected Areas Management announced. Early next week, Zelenila's machinery will remove the collected plant waste.
