Over 50 seedlings were planted today within the premises of the Clinical Center of Montenegro (KCCG) and one bench was installed as part of the campaign "Let's Green the Clinical Center of Montenegro", which was jointly implemented by the "Let's Green Montenegro" Initiative and the KCCG staff, as well as athletes of PVK "Budućnost" and FK "Karioke".
As announced by the "Let's Green Montenegro" Initiative, a new avenue of linden trees was planted on this occasion, as well as a large number of smaller seedlings that will protect the green area from reckless drivers.
"What made this action special was the presence of a large number of children who were given the opportunity to contribute to the restoration of green spaces and to plant their own sapling, thus learning about the importance of green spaces and their preservation.
"This is just one of the actions being implemented as part of the "Greening the KCCG" campaign," the statement states.
"Let's Green Montenegro" said that in the coming weeks they will inform citizens about the actions they will carry out until the end of spring to create new green areas or renovate old ones, all with the aim of fighting climate change, air pollution, and ultimately building a sustainable ecological society.
The employees of NLB Bank also participated in the greening campaign around the KCCG complex, donating 2.000 euros to contribute to the renovation of green areas in the most important healthcare institution in Montenegro and create a better future in the community in which they operate, the statement says.
